Richmond have confirmed the signing of ex-Geelong speedster Taylor Hunt on a one-year deal.
Hunt is also believed to have had interest from St Kilda and West Coast, but has decided to relaunch his career at the Tigers.
We have been clear in our intention to add to our midfield during the off-season, and we believe Taylor will be a strong addition to the club,” said Richmond football manager, Dan Richardson.
“Taylor will complement our playing list with his speed and versatility, and we are confident he has his best football ahead of him.
“While adding some experience in Taylor, we are still in a position to invest heavily in this year’s National Draft, which was another of our aims as we prepare for the 2015 season.”
Hunt was selected at pick no.49 of the 2008 national draft and made his debut against West Coast in round 11, 2010.
His best season came in 2012, where he played 21 games and averaged 15 disposals mainly as a run-on option on the Cats’ midfield.
