Manchester United transfer news
The 31-year-old had been hoping to see out the remainder of his career at United, having joined them from fellow Champions League hopefuls Arsenal in the summer of 2012.
The club are set to make a decision over his future over the summer, but so far they have given him no indication over whether they want him to stay or now.
A source close to Van Persie said: “Increasingly it is looking like his future will be elsewhere and he is beginning to think that himself.”
