Juventus
Serie A champions Juventus have been linked with a move for Lukaku, and on the face of it the two parties would seem like a good fit for each other.
Antonio Conte’s Old Lady have made something of a trade in taking on players not quite doing it elsewhere, such as the stunning free transfer of Paul Pogba from Manchester United, and Lukaku certainly fits that bill – although he would set them back a considerable fee.
Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente also seem to be well established as Conte’s favoured front pairing, but with Dani Osvaldo yet to agree a permanent move to the club after a loan spell from Juventus and Mirko Vucinic having agreed a transfer to United Arab Emirates side Al Jazira, there is certainly room for another forward in Turin.
The trouble is, that space in the Juve squad is likely to go to Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, who has revealed he is on the cusp of a move to the Scudetto holders, while a deal is also in the pipeline for Juan Iturbe.
That does not seem to leave a place for Romelu Lukaku.
