The Oregon Ducks are headed to the national championship after blowing out the Florida State Seminoles, 59-20, in the Rose Bowl.

No. 2 Oregon put an end to No. 3 Florida State’s 29-game winning streak and ended their chances of repeating as national champions with a 59-20 blowout win.
The Ducks made a huge statement that is sure to make Alabama and Ohio State nervous, and they will be playing in the national championship game on Monday, Jan. 12.
Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Marcus Mariota put on another fantastic performance with 338 passing yards and two touchdowns with one interception on 26-of-36 passing, and he added 62 rushing yards and a touchdown on eight carries.
Running back Thomas Tyner showed that he has a promising future in the Ducks offense by rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries, and Royce Freeman added 44 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.
Wide receiver Darren Carrington caught seven passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Seminoles had a nightmarish performance as they committed five turnovers. They stuck around as they trailed, 25-20, in the third quarter, but quarterback Jameis Winston fell down and lost a fumble that led to a momentum-changing touchdown.
Running back Dalvin Cook rushed for 103 yards on 15 carries but lost two fumbles. Winston threw for 348 yards and a touchdown with an interception on 29-of-45 passing.
