Olivier Giroud isn’t even old enough to sign with the MLS, and yet he’s already being written of in London.
Arsenal fans are still grieving over the team’s devastating 0-2 loss to West Ham United on Sunday and seem to think Olivier Giroud’s age may have become an issue – even though he’s still in his prime.
Taking to Twitter, Arsenal fans began stating that the 28-year-old striker (who turns 29 in about seven weeks) is already getting old and that he isn’t as young or talented as he was when he arrived just three seasons ago.

Arsenal were embarrassed at home in the Week 1 opener, with goalkeeper Petr Cech making a blatant error in the first half to give West Ham a 1-0 lead, and gave up a second goal before the one-hour mark that put the club in an 0-2 hole.
Despite 22 shots, 8 shots on goal and having both Alexis Sanchez and Giroud on the field, Arsenal were unable to finish the deal and get a score.
The loss dropped Arsenal to 19th on the Premier League table after Week 1.
