Saido Berahino was not a very popular man at West Bromwich Albion this summer when he said he would never play under chairman Jeremy Peace again.
The controversial striker was trying to force a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but a deal was not struck and the transfer window closed, leaving him stuck at the Hawthorns.
Since then Berahino has set about building bridges the only was he knows how – with goals.

Nine days after scoring his first goal of the season in a 1-0 win at Aston Villa, Berahino bagged his second to fire the Baggies ahead against Everton just before half time in tonight’s TV fixture.
Berahino’s finish was sharp. Everton’s defending was anything but!
Tottenham’s failure to sign Berahino left them very short in attack, so there is a good chance they will try again to bring Berahino to White Hart Lane when the window reopens in January.
However, if Berahino keeps scoring goals, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy may have to sign a very large cheque to secure his services.
