The St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders have been the teams most frequently mentioned, and the Raiders moving to Los Angeles once again may become a reality.
The Raiders played in Los Angeles from 1982 to 1994, before eventually moving back to Oakland.
The Raiders and the Chargers revealed that they have proposed sharing a new stadium near Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Their plan is to build a stadium in Carson that would be worth $1.7 billion. Carson is 15 miles away from Los Angeles, and it’s the home city of Major League Soccer team the LA Galaxy.
If enough voters can sign a petition to build the stadium, the building will begin. This may happen in the foreseeable future, as the Raiders and Chargers’ leases will expire in 2015.
