San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey injured his arm during practice, and it was confirmed he will sit out the season with a torn bicep.
The San Francisco 49ers received more unfortunate news in terms of injury when it was announced that defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey will be out for the season with a torn bicep.
The 49ers have already lost running back Kendall Hunter to a torn ACL, and fellow running back LaMichael James dislocated his elbow, which will keep him out at least a month.
Dorsey had been a bust in Kansas City since being drafted fifth overall in 2008, but his move to San Francisco benefited him greatly as he excelled at nose tackle.
The 49ers will have to replace him in 2014, per a tweet by ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
