San Francisco 49ers right guard Adam Snyder was seen holding his knee at practice and then walking off the field gingerly.
San Francisco 49ers right guard Adam Snyder, who was on track to take Alex Boone’s place as the starter, was seen on the field holding his knee.
He then walked off gingerly. This may be a serious blow to the 49ers’ offensive line since Boone is still holding out in hopes of getting a new contract. Boone is reportedly being looked at by other teams for a trade, so the 49ers may have a major hole at right guard.
The 49ers will be praying that this injury is not too serious, but it sounds like it may be a torn ACL.
Here is a tweet from CBS Sports NFL insider Jason La Canfora, who reported Snyder’s injury.
Adam Snyder, 2nd on SF depth chart at RG w/Alex Boone holding out, was down for several minutes, holding his knee. Walked off v. gingerly
