The San Francisco 49ers have gotten off to a frustrating start and fell to 1-2 with a 20-14 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin expressed his frustration with the 49ers’ two-game losing streak and called out the refs while doing so. “For me, it’s been obvious the last two weeks: The amount of calls that have gone against us and the amount of calls that we’ve gotten hasn’t been close,” Boldin said to the Sacramento Bee.
Boldin is not the only one complaining about the refs since 49ers fans are also reportedly unhappy with their calls as well.
This only adds more to the 49ers’ lack of cohesiveness on the field, as quarterback Colin Kaepernick has struggled with turnovers and been unable to come through in the clutch.
Running back Frank Gore has also been unhappy about the 49ers passing the ball more than running it, which stems from him only carrying the ball six times for 10 yards.
