On Saturday the Florida State Seminoles will be without star QB and former Heisman winner Jameis Winston. But will that be enough for the Clemson Tigers to overcome their bitter ACC rivals?
Here are the picks for Saturday:
#19 Wisconsin over Bowling Green – Bowling Green barely got away from Indiana, now they face one of the true powerhouses of the Big Ten.
#11 Michigan State over East Michigan – Michigan State has had two weeks to seethe over their loss to Oregon.
#13 Georgia over Troy – Pity on any team that has the nerve to take on Georgia after losing the way they did to South Carolina
#21 BYU over Virginia – This may be BYU’s hardest challenge yet, but they are at home so the road to an undefeated season may be clear.
#3 Alabama over Florida – This may be a close game, but ultimately Alabama will wear down and wear out Florida late in the game.
#6 Texas A&M over SMU – Aggies QB Kenny Hill has a chance to make a real push for the Heisman Trophy in this game.
#18 Missouri over Indiana – If Indiana had pulled out that win over Bowling Green they may have stood a chance. Not anymore.
#8 LSU over Mississippi State – Somebody is dropping out of the SEC West title picture, and it won’t be the Tigers.
#4 Oklahoma over West Virginia – WVU might have a chance if it had a defense, but it doesn’t, so they don’t.
#14 South Carolina over Vanderbilt – The Gamecocks start a stretch of winnable SEC games as it pursues the SEC East title.
#24 Nebraska over Miami – Nebraska has been a highlight reel all season. It’s hard to imagine a struggling Miami team overcoming that.
#2 Oregon over Washington State – Outside of Stanford and UCLA, there isn’t a loseable game on Oregon’s schedule the rest of the way.
#1 Florida State over #22 Clemson – Despite the loss of Jameis Winston for this game, the Seminoles still have the deepest and most talented roster in college football. Even if they don’t put up 40 points, the Seminole defense can probably help the team win if they score in the 20s.
