Man United have been desperate to find another striker to pair with Wayne Rooney, and they may have found one at White Hart Lane for a breakout year. Can Man United actually land Harry Kane?
Tottenham Hotspur scoring machine Harry Kane was mysteriously absent his team’s most recent match, and a serious bid from Manchester United may have had something to do with it.
According to the Metro, a commentator from Tottenham’s recent pre-season match against AC Milan stated that Harry Kane was expected to play with the team but decided not to after learning of a huge transfer offer from Man United.
“Harry Kane was planning to be in the squad,” the commentator said. “He’s not here this afternoon – he was yesterday… There are talks at the moment that there has been a huge offer from Manchester United.”
