Visiting supporters desperate to still see tie take place in Belgrade.
Loyal Scotland fans were hard at work on Tuesday clearing snow from the pitch so as to enable their World Cup qualifier in Serbia to go ahead.
Dressed in traditional kilts and jerseys of their national team, the Scots took shovels and removed snow from a part of the field, helping local clearing services.
Snow that was falling in Serbia since the early hours covered the field where the match was to take place at 1930 GMT and it was still uncertain in the afternoon if it would be delayed.
Both Serbia and Scotland’s chances of making it to the finals in Brazil next year look slim.
The Scots are last in Group A and trail joint leaders Belgium and Croatia by 11 points, while Serbia are fourth nine points adrift with five matches remaining.
