Seattle Seahawks defeat Green Bay Packers, 36-16
The Seattle Seahawks came away with another dominant win over a tough team as they continued to prove they are the best team in the NFL.
They beat the Green Bay Packers, 36-16. Cornerback Richard Sherman, who is the self-proclaimed best cornerback in the game, had zero passes thrown his way even though 33 passes were thrown.
This strategy did not pay off for quarterback Aaron Rodgers as he was held 185 yards and one touchdown pass, and cornerback Byron Maxwell intercepted him despite picked on most of the game.
Despite claims that Sherman may have been bored, he said otherwise. “I used to get pissed off when I was younger. But now I just stay disciplined, stay sound and assume just I’m making an impact somewhere,” the outspoken cornerback said.
This may have fueled even more evidence that Sherman is the best cornerback in the league since a quarterback as skilled as Rodgers was hesitant to throw his way.
