Seahawks QB Russell Wilson was incredibly sharp in his first game in Seattle since winning Superbowl XLVIII.
The Seattle Seahawks blew out the San Diego Chargers 41-14 in Week 2 of the 2014 NFL preseason.
Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, in his first appearance at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field since the team won their first Superbowl, led the team on 3 TD drives in the first half. Wilson finished the game 11 of 13 for 121 yards and also had 4 carries for 31 yards and two rushing TDs.
The Seahawks’ backup QB Terrelle Pryor only went 1 of 4 for 10 yards passing but added 59 yards on the ground including a 44-yard TD.
For the Chargers, backup QB Kellen Clemens accounted for the team’s only TDs in the game – a TD strike to Keenan Allen in the 2nd quarter and a TD to Jake Byrne in the 3rd quarter.
While the two teams were dead even in passing yards, the Seahawks outrushed the Chargers 243 yards to 78.
