Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has established himself as one of the best running backs in the NFL over the past few seasons, but there has been more to the player known as “Beast Mode.”
Despite his aggressive running approach, Lynch is known as a quiet guy off the field, based on his constant refusal to give a candid interview when speaking to the media.
Lynch most notably shunned the media after a Week 11 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and he was fined $50,000 for his actions. The running back often gives one-word answers to the media.
For prior actions related to this incident, Lynch has been fined a total of $100,000. He lost his appeal, so the fine will stand.
SB Nation reported on Lynch’s hefty fine on Twitter.
