The Seattle Seahawks have returned to the Super Bowl and will face the New England Patriots as they hope to repeat as champions.
They may be facing a potential roadblock though as strong safety Kam Chancellor is being listed on the injury report with a knee injury. He was limited in Friday’s practice after falling on the next-to-last play.
Chancellor, who is known as a hard hitter, will receive the ultimate task of covering Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
This may be the most intriguing matchup of the entire Super Bowl since the Patriots’ passing offense is heavily dependent on their All-Pro tight end.
Although it is highly unlikely that Chancellor will miss the Super Bowl, it’s possible that he may not be 100 percent.
ESPN reporter Ed Werder released the Seahawks’ latest injury news on Twitter.
