FW: Jeremy Menez (Milan)
Menez proved many of his doubters wrong last season with over a dozen goals as he played a pivotal role in keeping Pippo Inzaghi in a job.
However, the Frenchman is now being linked with a €15m move to Liverpool, but it may not be such a wise move for Brendan Rodgers given that the former PSG man still lacks the temperament and attitude to be a success at a top club.
FW: Mario Gomez (Fiorentina)
The German striker has been plagued by injuries since arriving to much fanfare in Florence, and so it remains to be seen whether or not a move elsewhere will work for him.
Liverpool need goals and Gomez can certainly deliver them, but the Reds will need to make the Viola an interesting offer for them to allow his departure.
FW: Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli)
Higuain’s future has seemingly been a talking point for years, and after Napoli missed out on Champions League football, he is back circulating in the rumour mill.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis dismissed his sale earlier this week, insisting that he wants him to stay and it is unlikely any team will meet the release clause of €94m.
However, if the Argentinian really isn’t happy, Man United and Arsenal will be the first at the door waiting to speak to him.
