The Partenopei have been in sensational form so far this season, as after losing on the opening day of the season against Sassuolo on August 23, they have now gone 15 games unbeaten in all competitions.
A significant part of that success has been the form of Insigne and Higuain, with the latter adding to his tally to make it 10 for the season as he moved clear at the top of the goalscoring standings.
The Argentinian international has seemingly rediscovered his best form under Sarri, and both the player and club will hope that it can be extended for as long as possible as they look to launch a genuine Scudetto challenge.
Meanwhile, Insigne has registered a personal best already having scored seven goals in 13 outings, and he will hope that his form secures his place in Antonio Conte’s squad for Euro 2016 next summer.
After losing their way under Rafa Benitez, the appointment of Sarri has turned out to be a smart one although there is still a long way to go this year.
Nevertheless, with the players looking more comfortable and the team as a whole finding a balance having conceded few goals which in turn allows their strikers to make decisive contributions, the southern giants have undoubtedly proven their title credentials.
Both Fiorentina and Inter will have the chance to return to the top of the table on Sunday when they take on Empoli and Frosinone respectively, while Juventus are surging up the standings and sit just eight points behind Napoli.
However, Sarri will be delighted with what he is seeing from his team as they focus on their own path, and it remains to be seen how long they can maintain their current unbeaten run with Insigne and Higuain spearheading their attack.
