Podolski’s made it abundantly clear through the press that he’s unhappy with life on the Arsenal bench but then just expects to be picked rather than putting in the required effort to warrant a place in the first team squad.
A loan move for Podolski with an eye for a permanent move in the summer would help both Arsenal get a disruptive influence off the squad list and free up some much needed funds on the wage bill for potential January targets.
