Whilst the big clubs in the English Premier League have been linked with huge moves for some of the finest talent across Europe this summer, there are also plenty of mooted deals that could happen on a domestic level between Premier League clubs this summer.
One such huge transfer has already gone through, with Southampton left back Luke Shaw joining Manchester United for a world record fee for a teenager after returning from his exploits at the World Cup with England as an 18 year-old.
It is not just United who are expected to be raiding fellow Premier League clubs this summer, however, as fanatix found out when we took a look at the possible domestic deals that could happen in the 2014 transfer window.
1) Adam Lallana (Southampton to Liverpool)
One of the worst kept secrets in English football this summer appears to be the transfer of Adam Lallana from Southampton to Liverpool, with the England international expected to complete his move to Anfield in the near future.
The 26 year-old, who has spent his entire career to date at St. Mary’s, emerged as one of the Premier League’s finest attacking midfielders last season with a series of exciting displays for Mauricio Pochettinho’s entertaining young team.
Some questions have been asked, however, about the fee, with the Reds expected to be paying around £25 million for the signature of a player who could no longer be classed as a youngster.
