Form against English sides
As good as Bayern are against most sides – particularity in the Bundesliga – they have failed to win their last four matches at home to English opposition.
This season alone the side have drawn with Arsenal and lost to Manchester City in front of their own fans and the previous year the Gunners were triumphant.
In fact United themselves drew in Munich back in 2012, although were eventually knocked out on the away goals rule.
