6. Kieran Trippier (Burnley)

The cross-happy right-back made a name for himself by topping the assists chart in the Championship during Burnley’s promotion year, and impressed during his debut top-flight season.

He apparently has a £3.5m release clause in his contract and Tottenham are happy to pay it, although they may face competition from Liverpool and Southampton.
