The English press are linking Juan Mata with a move back to Spain…
Reports in the Daily Mirror are linked Juan Mata with a return to Spain, as Seville reportedly monitor his status at Man United.
The Spaniard only arrived from Chelsea in January of this year, for a princely sum of £37.5m, but United will apparently sell him at a loss just a year on to free up funds for the signing of Kevin Strootman.
Mata has been in and out of the team under Louis Van Gaal, and the competition he faces from Adnan Januzaj, Falcao, Wayne Rooney, Angel Di Maria, Robin Van Persie and a host of others means that the former Valencia man has struggled to start consistently this term.

This follows a spell at Chelsea where the playmaker was twice voted player of the year, before Jose Mourinho decided he couldn’t turn down United’s huge offer.
Whether a bid from Spain actually materialises remains to be seen.
