Sevilla will reportedly make a last-ditch move to snatch Barcelona defender Martin Montoya from under the noses of Liverpool.
The 24-year-old has been constantly linked with a move away from the Camp Nou over the last couple of years after failing to nail down a regular starting spot.
The arrival of Aleix Vidal from Sevilla and Dani Alves agreeing a new contract has left Montoya further down Luis Enrique’s pecking order and he is now almost certain to leave Catalonia this summer.

The Spain Under-21 international was thought to be edging closer to a move to Anfield, who are seeking someone to solve their problem right-back area, but Marca claim that Sevilla aim to hijack the move.
The successive Europa League winners are after a replacement for Vidal and would not shirk at Barcelona’s valuation, which is believed to be between €5m and €10m.
