Reds keen on Spain left-back.
Sevilla defender Alberto Moreno is wanted by Liverpool FC manager Brendan Rodgers, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Reds are almost certain to sign a new left-back this summer and Moreno is apparently their top target.
Moreno, 21, was part of the Sevilla side that defeated Benfica on penalty kicks in the Europa League final on Wednesday night.
He has been capped twice by Spain at senior international level and has been included in Vicente del Bosque’s provisional 30-man squad for this summer’s World Cup.
Moreno has four years left to run on his current contract in Seville and the La Liga outfit are unlikely to sell him for any less than £15m.
If Rodgers is unable to bring Moreno to Anfield, the Echo claim that he will switch his attention to Brazilian Guilherme Siqueira or Chelsea’s Ryan Bertrand.
Liverpool’s left-back responsibilities have been shared between Mamadou Sakho, Glen Johnson, Jose Enrique, Jon Flanagan, Aly Cissokho and Daniel Agger this season.
