Manchester United have yet to lose a match in the 2015-16 season, but their attack has left a lot to be desired so far.
Striker Wayne Rooney has continued to experience a slow start. Although he had a decent performance in the Red Devils’ 0-0 draw against Newcastle United, he has yet to score a goal this season.
Rooney is the captain and the senior forward in the United squad, but his time at Old Trafford may be coming to an end sooner than expected.
The 29-year-old has had a shockingly poor 2015, as he has only had more than one shot on target in a Premier League match twice this year.
United have played 21 league matches in 2015, which makes this a discouraging stat for Red Devils fans, who are now calling for the club to go after high-quality strikers such as Arsenal target Karim Benzema.
This is only the second game in 21 Premier League matches in 2015 for Wayne Rooney that he’s had more than one shot on target.
