The Arturo Vidal saga is finally over but unfortunately for Premier League contenders, he won’t be heading to England. Did Arsenal & Man United make a mistake by not trying harder?
Former Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has put pen-to-paper on a deal with a Bundesliga powerhouse, snubbing Arsenal & Man United in the process.
Earlier today Vidal officially signed with Bayern Munich on a deal that lasts through 2019. The contract signing was posted to FC Bayern Munich’s official Twitter page.

Arsenal and Manchester United were considered top contenders for the 28-year-old superstar valued from £28-£32 million this summer.
In an interview with the German outfit’s official website – translated by the Express, Vidal expressed how happy he was and felt it was a dream come true.
“I am very happy,” Vidal said. “This is a new step in my career and I hope to do well here.
“I want to help the team and win titles. For me it is a dream come true.”
Vidal was named the 2015 Copa America Final Man of the Match after his home nation (and tournament host nation) Chile defeated Argentina in a 4-1 shootout following a 0-0 draw. In 124 appearances for Juventus, Vidal has 35 goals and has been named to the Serie A Team of the Year twice. Last season Juventus won the Serie A Championship and finished the year as the runner-ups in the UEFA Champions League final to Barcelona.
He continued, “I wanted to take a big step in my career… I would like to develop as a player and still win important titles like the Champions League.
“I’m excited to play in the Bundesliga again and certainly hope to win it.”
