Probably the finest professional ever to play on these shores, Giggs has defied the laws of nature and shattered so many records during his 23-year stay at Old Trafford that Fergie described him as a “freak” following the latest title success. Giggs has adapted wonderfully from a flying left winger to a cultured midfield pass-master and his 936 (and counting) senior appearances for United is likely to never be beaten.
