Chelsea fans’ favourite Zola began his managerial career brightly with West Ham United, but the Hammers sacked him after less than two years in charge. After leaving Upton Park with a lowly win percentage of 28.75%, Zola had brief spells with Watford and Cagliari. Ultimately the affable Italian is probably too nice to succeed as a manager.
