Former Bayern Munich and France defender Willy Sagnol is doing a fine job in his first club position with Bordeaux in Ligue 1, taking the unfancied side to near the summit of the table early on this season after he was appointed in the summer. Sagnol is also credited with doing a fine job with the France Under 21 side beforehand and is carving out a real name for himself.
