3. The Seattle Seahawks are still hungry
One of the reasons why it is so difficult to repeat as Super Bowl champions is that carrying the same competitiveness while being targeted by the rest of the league is a major challenge. No team has won two consecutive Super Bowls since the Patriots did it in 2003-04. However, the Seahawks have been out to prove that they can be the first team to accomplish this feat since the Patriots. Many NFL pundits said in the middle of the season that the Seahawks may miss the playoffs since they were 6-4 at one point.
They have responded with six consecutive regular-season wins to close out the season, and they find themselves in the Super Bowl once again. They responded to their biggest obstacle yet by stunning the Packers after trailing, 16-0, at halftime. They woke up from their first-half trance to remind everyone that they are still the team to beat. Wide receiver Doug Baldwin shushed his critics in an emotional postgame rant, showing that the Seahawks will never be satisfied until they win another Super Bowl.
