3. Russell Wilson is too though
The Seahawks quarterback is often criticized for being a “game manager,” but the fact of the matter is that Wilson is a clutch quarterback and can be relied upon when needed. He rarely turns the ball over and has already led his team to a Super Bowl victory in just two seasons, and he is expected by many to lead the Seahawks to a repeat championship. He got off to a good start by throwing for 268 yards and three touchdowns on 15-of-22 passing against a tough Carolina Panthers defense.
This marks an average of 12.2 yards per attempt, and his rating was 149.2. The Seahawks may have the best defense in the league and an elite running back in Marshawn Lynch, but these stats are hard to argue. Wilson now has a 5-1 playoff record, and he will be in good company with Brady if the Seahawks win it all again. Brady also won two Super Bowl championships in his first three seasons as the starting quarterback for the Patriots. It’s scary to imagine what Wilson can accomplish when he gains even more NFL experience.
