1. Aaron Rodgers is the deserving MVP
Although the playoffs do not determine the voting in the NFL awards, Rodgers made another strong case as to why he deserves to claim his second career MVP award. The Packers quarterback played through a strained calf and still threw for 316 yards and three touchdown passes on 24-of-35 passing, and he came through in the clutch after the Packers trailed the Cowboys by eight points in the third quarter.
Rodgers shined in the regular season with 38 touchdown passes against five interceptions, and he finished it off with an inspiring performance against the Detroit Lions in Week 17 despite playing with a calf injury then as well. The Packers would not be in the NFC Championship if not for the high level of play from their quarterback, and he has been the best quarterback in the NFL this season.
