1. Raheem Sterling (Manchester City to Liverpool)

One of the transfer sagas of the summer finally looks like being resolved after Liverpool accepted a third bid of £49m from Manchester City for the England international winger over the weekend.

Sterling, who refused to sign a new deal at Anfield to force his way out, will now undergo a medical and discuss personal terms, and could become the most expensive Englishman of all time later this week.
