But only four A-League based players are in the 22-man party…
Socceroos coach Holger Osieck has named a strong 22-man squad for the friendly against Brazil at the Estadio Nacional Mané Garrincha Stadium on September 7.
The 64-year-old has picked an almost full-strength group for the match against the World Cup hosts with Middlesbrough defender Rhys Williams making a return after he was absent for the recent qualifiers against Jordan and Iraq in June.
Central Coast Mariners striker Mitchell Duke has also been rewarded for his impressive start to life in the senior side with a second call-up after notching two goals in three games during the EAFF East Asian Cup and is one of only four A-League-based players, alongside Matt McKay, Mark Milligan and Archie Thompson, to be selected by Osieck.
Defender Ryan McGowan also performed well in South Korea and retains his place, while goalkeepers Mat Ryan and Mitchell Langerak will battle it out with Mark Schwarzer for the number one jersey.
