All or nothing for the men Yellow and Green
In the light of the fact that nothing but a win will do for Gordon Igesund’s side against Botswana on Saturday, the coach has pledged he will go all out to attack in order to maximise his sides chances.
Bafana Bafana must beat Botswana and hope that Central African Republic can get a result against Ethiopia, to have any chance of qualifying for Brazil 2014.
Speaking to the South Africa Football Association, Igesund revealed his plan is to attack right from the off.
“We are going to be very attack-minded on Saturday, because any result other than a win will not help our cause. The players we have for the match are all on top of their game.
“It is a lovely situation that I find myself. That gives me a healthy headache as to who I will leave out but I will make those tough decisions over the next few days.”
Despite the odds against him, the coach is confident his side have the ability to overcome the Zebra’s.
“I am confident we will get a positive result but at the same time I will be absolutely gutted if we win the game and we do not qualify.
“I do not need to motivate the players because they are well aware of what is needed. This game has become very important to us.”
