Both sides name strong line-ups for blockbuster showdown.
The Brisbane Broncos and South Sydney have named unchanged sides for their round eight NRL clash at Suncorp Stadium.
In what is shaping as the game of the round, the home side will be looking to make it four wins on the trot, after beat the Wests Tigers by 10 points last weekend.
Despite sealing their fourth win of the season, the Broncos were hardly convincing in putting away an injury ravaged Tigers outfit, that lost more of its front line stars during the clash.
But the prospect of playing one of the best sides this season on their home ground should lift the Broncos.
The news from the burrow at South Sydney is also just as positive in recent weeks with coach Michael McGuire naming the same side that were impressive in earning a rare win at Brookvale Oval against Manly.
The clash lived up the pre-game hype, with the tight first half giving way to the Rabbitohs blowing the Sea Eagles away, with the final score not an indication of how good the red and green side were.
“I was proud of the boys the way they handled themselves through what was a pretty physical game where there was a gait bit of emotion in it as well,” McGuire said.
“But we’ve to do it all again this weekend because we’ve got another big game coming up.~
Broncos: Corey Norman, Josh Hoffman, Jack Reed, Justin Hodges, Lachlan Maranta, Scott Prince, Peter Wallace, Ben Hannant, Andrew McCullough, Sam Thaiday, Alex Glenn, Matt Gillett, Corey Parker. Interchange: Ben Hunt, Scott Anderson, David Hala, Josh McGuire
