South Sydney Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess tells fans on Twitter that his shoulder injury is ‘not serious’

The Rabbitohs gun told his followers scan results on his shoulders were ‘positive’.

South Sydney star Sam Burgess has taken to Twitter to assure Rabbitohs fans that the injury he suffered during his side’s 34-18 win over the Raiders last night isn’t serious and that the scan results were “positive”.

Burgess sent a scare through the South Sydney camp on Monday night when he left the field in the second half and was seen icing his shoulder.

Burgess tweeted: “Scan results on my shoulder were positive this morning. No serious damage. Thanks for everyone’s messages and well wishes. Back to business”
