The Titans were inspired by the dynamic James Roberts but the Rabbitohs just had too much class in the end.
They recovered from the loss of Greg Inglis to concussion to push ahead and hold on for the victory.
Roberts set up the Titans first try.
Inglis responded with this freakish solo effort.
And then Roberts demonstrated his talent once again.
In the second half South Sydney hit the lead.
But then they lost Inglis, their star fullback and captain.
Souths continued to dominate though and Alex Johnston, his replacement at the back, found the line.
Soon after the Rabbitohs were over again and surely they had the match wrapped up.
Anthony Don made it a nervy end with his second try but Souths had a six-point buffer, which was enough for them to get the win.
The defending champions are starting to hit their straps at an important part of the season.
