Reports in the Daily Express confirm that Wanyama went down seconds before half time in the clash at Portman Road, while his manager Ronald Koeman has already bemoaned the midfielder’s injury, which could see him ruled out for several weeks.
Koeman said: “Victor Wanyama is a pity. Before the match I spoke to him and told him he would have 45 minutes, and he got injured with 10 seconds of the half left!
“He will have a scan tomorrow and we will see, but he will be missing for a few weeks. It is difficult. I won’t necessarily go into the transfer market, I have young lads who we can use.”
