Former Roma striker set for media presentation.
Southampton are set to officially unveil new £15m club record signing Pablo Osvaldo to the media on Monday afternoon.
The 27-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Premier League side, and is set for a reunion with former boss Mauricio Pochettino following their time together at Espanyol.
It is understood that his transfer fee is likely to further increase as it includes various performance-related bonuses, but he will undoubtedly be determined to make his switch to England a success.
The Italian international scored 16 league goals last season for the Giallorossi, but the club were actively trying to offload him this summer after a number of disciplinary issues.
Following his sale, it is likely that Tottenham target Erik Lamela will now remain in Rome, with speculation in the Italian media suggesting that the capital club will look to sign another Italian international, Alberto Gilardino, to replace Osvaldo.
