Saints looking to wrap up move for Ryan Bertrand.
Southampton are hoping to sign left back Ryan Bertrand from Chelsea on a permanent deal at the end of the season, report the Mail, after the Champions League winning Englishman settled straight down into life at St. Mary’s.

Bertrand joined Southampton on loan from Chelsea last summer after spending a period with Aston Villa last season and doesn’t seem to have a future at Stamford Bridge, despite his fine performances under Ronald Koeman for the Saints so far this season.
The Dutchman has been impressed with the former Gillingham youngster and sounds keen to make Bertrand a Southampton player on a permanent basis as soon as possible:
“If we have the money, yes. If its up to me, yes. Maybe it’s too early to talk about that, but I am very happy until now with the performance of Ryan.”
