The Seattle Seahawks led them, 24-14, in the fourth quarter before Patriots quarterback Tom Brady put on his best fourth-quarter performance of his career with two touchdown passes.
This was enough to earn him the third Super Bowl MVP award of his career.
Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman got too overconfident as he mocked Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis for allowing a touchdown catch by wide receiver Doug Baldwin.
He had also claimed earlier that Brady “lost his heart” after throwing his second interception of the game.
Sherman is known as the biggest trash talker in the NFL, and he was clearly stunned by the Patriots’ comeback win.
However, he shook the hands of Brady and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick after the game.
