The St. Louis Rams can claim to have the best defensive line in football now that Ndamukong Suh is no longer in Detroit, and their depth is even stronger now that they have signed defensive tackle Nick Fairley.

Fairley also spent the beginning of his career with the Lions, and the Rams have signed him to a one-year, $5 million contract.
This can rise to $7.5 million though since it is incentive-laden. Fairley has been notorious for not giving it his all on every play.
He has also been in trouble off the field as well with marijuana possession and DUI charges.
This is a low-risk signing for the Rams though since the contract is short, and they also have incredible depth at defensive tackle with Defensive Rookie of the Year Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers.
Defensive end is also strong with Pro Bowlers Robert Quinn and Chris Long. The Rams still have work to do on their offense, but their defense is sure to be even more intimidating after taking a leap forward in the 2014 season.
