The St. Louis Rams will face the Green Bay Packers in their next preseason game. Quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Sam Bradford will return after sitting out last week.
The St. Louis Rams are coming off a close loss and will look to add a preseason win to their resume as they face the Green Bay Packers Saturday.
Running back Tre Mason made a case to share carries with Zac Stacy by rushing for 51 yards on 15 carries. He already seems ready to be a workhorse if anything happens to Stacy.
The backup quarterbacks looked fantastic as well as Sam Bradford sat out the opener. Shaun Hill threw for 84 yards and two touchdowns on 5-for-7 passing, and Austin Davis threw for 134 yards and a touchdown on 10-for-16 passing.
The offense will have to manage without left tackle Jake Long for another game though. The defensive line will look to wreak more havoc after not registering a single sack against the Saints.
The Packers will start Aaron Rodgers at quarterback after sitting him in their opening loss to the Titans. Running back Eddie Lacy is expected to sit out again, but James Starks looked sharp in the preseason opener, rushing for 49 yards on six carries.
Matt Flynn looked sloppy in his start at quarterback, and Scott Tolzien outplayed him. There are rumors Tolzien may take the No. 2 job, so Flynn will need to bounce back against the Rams.
