New South Wales skipper Paul Gallen and Blues stalwart Brett Morris have been recalled for Game II of the 2015 State of Origin series with coach Laurie Daley making just two changes for the clash at the MCG.
SEE ALSO:
Morris makes his return from injury and will replace Sydney Roosters winger Daniel Tupou, while Gallen’s return pushes Josh Jackson to the bench.
Gallen’s return means that Cronulla Sharks teammate Andrew Fifita has been pushed out of the side for the June 17 clash in Melbourne.
The 33-year-old proved his fitness in the Sharks’ shock win over the Roosters on Sunday, running a game best 266 metres.
Blues hooker Robbie Farah has been named despite missing Game I through injury and not having seen any game time for the Wests Tigers since.
New South Wales lost the opening game of the series 11-10 in Sydney and must win at the MCG to keep the series alive.
