Sterling has been heavily linked to a summer exit from Anfield, and the Red Devils are reportedly set to table a cheeky £25m bid for the England international.
The 20-year-old is believed to be considering a move to Liverpool most hated rivals, however the Liverpool Echo reports that the Reds have no intention of doing business with Old Trafford bosses.
Sterling is seemingly forcing his way out of Anfield after rejected a new and improved £100k-a-week deal, and Liverpool may consider cashing in on the player before his value decreases as he begins to run down his contract which expires in 2017.
Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez is believed to be wanting to make Sterling his first major signing of the summer, and it would be understandable if the Reds sell the youngster to a European club rather than one of its Premier League rivals.
