Stoke City are close to completing the signing of Tottenham’s Peter Crouch.
Sky Sports are reporting that a transfer fee has been agreed with Spurs and that personal terms with the player have also been settled.
Crouch has yet to undergo a medical though that is believed to be a formality. The one fly in the ointment is the fact that England international has some outstanding financial arrangements to sort out with the Londoners prior to confirming the switch.
Those details are expected to be ironed out in time for him to sign ahead of the 11pm deadline.
