Chiefs Coach orders improvement
Kaizer Chiefs Coach Stuart Baxter has told his side they need to improve their form radically.
Last year’s Champions have began the Premier League campaign in stuttering form, losing their last two games and scoring only four points.
The coach has called on his side to prove their worth when the Premier League resumes after the international break at the weekend.
Speaking to Goal South Africa the coach urged his side forward.
“We have to look at ourselves, work harder and that you cannot buy unfortunately,” Baxter told Chiefs official website.
“The question about whether we have a competitive squad this season has to be answered by the players we have at our disposal.
“We did not ‘go crazy’ in the market as we had to respect the team that won us the double last season.
“We have to look for solutions and address this very quickly.”
As Baxter mentions because of the success of Chiefs previous season the club elected not to strengthen the side over the summer.
As the poor form continues this gallantry is looking like more and more of a poor footballing decision.
Chiefs face a must win home game against Maritzburg United on September 14th.
